Le cycliste alg\u00e9rien Mohamed Nadjib Assel a d\u00e9croch\u00e9 une m\u00e9daille d’or au Championnat d’Afrique sur piste, actuellement en cours au V\u00e9lodrome d’Abuja (Nigeria), apr\u00e8s sa victoire dans l’\u00e9preuve de l’Omnium, se qualifiant par la m\u00eame occasion aux prochains Mondiaux de la sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Assel s’est impos\u00e9 avec un total de 600 points, devant les Sud-africains Zane Salzwedel et Gustav Roller, respectivement 2e avec 540 points et 3e avec 480 points, au moment o\u00f9 le deuxi\u00e8me international alg\u00e9rien engag\u00e9 dans cette course, Anes Riahi, s’est content\u00e9 de la quatri\u00e8me place, avec un total de 450 points.<\/p>\n

Pour rappel, les prochains Championnats du monde de cyclisme sur piste se d\u00e9rouleront du 14 au 18 octobre 2026, au V\u00e9lodrome de Shanghai, en Chine.<\/p>\n
